In X it was said: “The main workshop is being tidied up and made ready for our new projects arriving soon. First will be our donated vessel Taylor Maid. Next the historic sailing coble Golden Gleam, pictured at 2005 Tall Ships Newcastle.
A broken promise perhaps, it appears that the Golden Gleam is still on the quayside in St Peter’s Marina because the Chair of NEMT, Mr A Renwick, refuses to allow any NFHT vessels, access to the slipway off Wapping St in South Shields.

In X it was said: “We are happy to say that our original Website is up and running again after some hard work, fixing of scammers, etc, and inevitable costs involved. Our new and more appropriate .org.uk Website will soon be available.
It was up and running because the owner, Mick Dawson, had given Alec Renwick administrative rights which turned out to be a grave error because the history of both NEMT and its sister Trust NFHT from 2011 to 2019 had been deleted.

July 2024
In X it was said “It’s hard to believe that four years have past since we registered this new Twitter, now X account after previous scamming on the high seas. We are so pleased with the current progress. Thank you.
There was no previous scamming and the Chair of NEMT had created his Twitter Account in 2020 in direct competition with the Website nemaritimetrust.co.uk.
