The Posts were lost when the provider for nemaritimetrust.co.uk was switched from TSOHost to IONOS but some could be recovered from the archive. Many will be without their original images and if time allows this will hopefully be rectified.

There are various Facebook pages and an X or Twitter stream almost entirely but not exclusively, devoted to the restored lifeboat, Henry Frederick Swan and the links to them are given on the Home Page.
The website nemaritimetrust.co.uk had been run from its earliest days by me, Mick Dawson, and I paid for the subscription for it until the time he moved to Amble in 2017. About the same time he suggested that it would be better for someone based in South Shields to run the site and although NEMT took over the costs of it nobody took up my suggestion, I continued to maintain it because the local members of NEMT had taken to Social Media to report on events etc. not realising the shortcomings of doing so.
The row between the owner of the website and the Chair of NEMT continued into June 2024 and illustrates the major shortcoming perfectly and it stems from incidents following AGM held in late 2013.
