I think not!
This post began as a letter to Peter Weightman, Chair of the time NFHT but not sent when I decided broadcast it as a post rather than send it as private email and it has been edited to get rid of the waffle and get to the point. The letter had started:-
I hope you are keeping well and have time to copy me the notification that NFHT offered to give the Sovereign to a good home. It appeared to be a modified copy of the document about her, held on the current website for the NE Maritime Trust. I had noticed it while I was posting the fact that those in charge of NEMT are attempting to ‘airbrush’ me out of the history of their Trust.
The main reason for this letter/email was that I omitted to download the message that Sovereign was being offered to a good home, was because I had got distracted by a note from the provider of the nemaritimetrust.co.uk, IONOS, saying:-
Hello Micheal Dawson,
We have been contacted by your customer regarding their domain nemaritimetrust.co.uk.
Unfortunately we cannot provide assistance directly to them as they are your customer and have no contract or account with IONOS.
Please can you reach out to them directly to provide whatever help they need A.S.A.P.
They have provided this contact info:
Alec.renwick@nemaritimetrust.org.uk
Mob 07753 985696
Please let me know by reply once you have spoken with them and I can close this case.
Best Regards,
Danielle.S
The misspelling of my name is down to Alec who has been two faced about both the Trusts, NEMT and NFHT for a number of years which was why I asked him to put down in writing, what wanted to say to me, when I was cornered by him in 2024.
Anyway, I wrote back to Danielle two days later on the 14th of May:-
Hi Danielle.S
Mr A Renwick, the Chairman of the North East Maritime Trust, set up nemaritimetrust.org.uk in competition with my site in October 2022 in order to rewrite the history of Trust which had been recorded by me since I became an active member in 2007.
The rewrite is to hide his near criminal activity since he became Chairman of the Trust in 2020 and he(’s) certainly no customer of mine.
Please close this case.
Kind regards
Mick Dawson
Moderator of nemaritimetrust.co.uk
A standard response from Ionos Support was received within seconds and very pleasingly, about four hours later, I was informed that the case had been closed:-
Hello Mick Dawson,
Thank you for giving us this information and I do apologise that this situation has happened.
I will close the case as requested.
Just a glance at nemaritimetrust.co.uk would have shown that it had a history of the two trusts, NFHT and NEMT going back nearly two decades whereas nemaritimetrust.org.uk showed only a very limited version of NEMT’s activities and I guess that Danielle would not have had to look very far into either Alec’s or my website to see that there was nothing to sell on either site so he could hardly be one of my customers, nor I one of his.
