its replacement and I will take this opportunity to repeat, that I was left with no other course than to switch the provider away from TSOHost to another when he had posted on nemaritimetrust.co.uk:-
Unfortunately our site has been almost destroyed by scamming, but we are trying to sort it out. As you can see, certain nasty Trustees of Northumbrian Fishing Heritage Trust (NFHT) have deleted some of our precious content. Pathetic, isn’t it! However, this disgraceful act has pointed NEMT in the direction of rebuilding our now outdated website, which we hope will soon be active. Thank you for your patience.
It was not any NFHT Trustee who had deleted his “precious content”, it was himself, see betraying trust on the first page. Mind, everything was erased when the provider was switched from TSOHost to INIOS, and I, as owner of the site had to rebuild it from scratch but it least it no longer says anything about the supposed misbehaviour of NFHT Trustees.
Last year, the day of the intended launch of the lifeboat, Henry Frederick Swan stood out for me because I had travelled all the down from Amble to South Tyneside to see if the slipway was going to available for more than a winter boatshed for her but she got stuck half way back into the Tyne because of a misalignment of track on the floor of the slipway and had to be hauled back into the shed while it was repaired.
While she was stuck, I was talking to another long serving volunteer and we were interrupted by Mr Renwick, who wanted a word with me and I simply responded by telling him to put what he wanted to say in writing and it I was soon after the lifeboat was successfully launched that the Chair of NEMT began to use his Newsletters to malign both this website and its author. See Summer 2024:-
Headline News – Due to unforeseen circumstances our Website is currently still offline. We apologise if you have been affected by this or for any inconvenience caused. But be assured that we are trying to sort this out, in the meantime please be patient.
However, our new Website below will replace and be much better than the original which was very unreliable anyway.
Once this horrible little gremlin has been removed we hope to be back on-line very soon with our new improved Website address as follows – www.nemaritimetrust.org.uk
Please also note our new email – info@nemaritimetrust.org.uk will soon be available on the
website and we hope it will also be much more reliable than before
I note from his latest Newsletter that he has recruited three more, who will no doubt, along with Dr Griffiths and Mr Lunt be easily persuaded to turn a blind eye to misinformation that he has been pumping out for a good many years.
Let’s hope I am wrong.
Kind regards
Mick Dawson
* the size/density of the pictures has been reduced making the copy referred to in this email is only about 3 kbytes as opposed to the one 10 times the size, that was sent out to all members including myself on the 21st April.
It was soon after the Chairman of NEMT posted his opinion of the Trustees of the Northumbrian Fisheries Heritage Trust on offered to resign his Trusteeship the NFHT and it was gratefully was accepted which left this ex-Trustee free to comment appropiately on the conduct of NEMT’s Chair.
Re resignation letter:- a look-up on nfht.co.uk will reveal that the site no longer has any content and therefore contains no references to either NEMT or NFHT.
