There was no notice in the Mr Renwick’s Newsletter of any meeting to elect a new Chair for NEMT and it appears that he was being rather presumptive when he signed himself as the chairman. When he sends out the Secretary’s letter about his decision to leave the AGM to 2021 he no longer signs as the Chair of NEMT.

I had no contact with Alec Renwick from 2011 until he returned from his travels in 2018 and then no direct contact with him until late in 2019 when he requested access to the website nemaritimetrust.co.uk which I had managed since it was registered in 2014, and his request was granted on the 3rd of December 2019.
It soon became clear that Alec Renwick had wasted no time in deleting most of the references to the Northumbria Fisheries Heritage Trust, I was not able to restore them and his actions since then have shown that it was no accident that the posts from 2011 simply disappeared.
