Dear Alec,

I was most upset to find after I had travelled all the South Shields last Saturday to see how your volunteers were getting on with the restoration of the Golden Gleam only to find both the shed and the slipway locked up and it appeared that everyone had taken a break for the summer. It was only when I noticed the Rachel Douglas poorly moored in the river end of an old dock that I realised that something was wrong and I have taken the trouble to put the detail behind my disappointment in the Gremlin’s Tale – attached.

Mr Dawson

Please be aware that the email address you have used for me is for private use only.
Do not use it again.
If he did not want his private email address to be used why did he circulate it to 5 others and I use his private email address because I do not wish to use info@nemaritimetrust.org.uk.
The one you are using for yourself belongs to North East Maritime Trust.
mick.dawson@nemaritimetrust.co.uk does not belong to NEMT it belongs to the person who has owned the website nemaritimetrust.co.uk since at least 2014 and it is I, Mick  Dawson.
I’m therefore asking you again to stop this rather annoying keyboard game you have continued to play over recent years and return both the nemaritimetrust.co.uk Website along with its email address to NEMT where they belong.
The Gremlin’s Tale is not a keyboard game, it is an exposé and is annoying Mr Renwick, because it was he who engineered the split in Gordon Brown’s Legacy so that was not divided equally between NEMT and NFHT and he has no wish to explain on what grounds he divided the Legacy so that the bulk of it  went to NEMT.
For progress, that route continues to be left open for you to use.
The route was given me in June 2024 by alec.renwick@gmail.com and as I have explained the Website never belonged to him and I have no desire to let him post derogatory comments on it again, comments such as; “As you can see, certain nasty Trustees of Northumbrian Fishing Heritage Trust (NFHT) have deleted some of our precious content. Pathetic, isn’t it!”.
No more discussion can take place until that happens.

Those who have used my website over the years will know that there had been no name-calling until Mr Renwick’s post of March 2024, denouncing the Trustees of the NFHT: As you can see, certain nasty Trustees etc.. and by April the 13th he was falsely accusing me of stealing a website which was not his. When he says no more discussion unless I hand over my Website it is more than an idle threat because it is clear that he wants to close down that fact he had fraudulently misrepresented the truth when he told an Agent of TSO Host that I was not a member of NEMT.
As you know, because of your actions your membership was removed by the board of Trustees along with all access to this organisation. I ask you to simply honour that decision.
Under his Chairmanship a scheme was devised where a membership can be arbitrarily removed from those with whom he has fallen out and I am, as far as I know, the fourth and that, in plain language, is the reason that I refuse to honour the decision of his kangaroo court which apparently took place on Tuesday April 30th, 2024. The attendees were:-
Mr Renwick, the self appointed the Chairman of the North East Maritime Trust, Dr Griffiths, the treasurer who was party to the refusal to pay a debt owed to the NFHT – it required the law to intervene for it to be paid and Mr Lund, a Trustee who had rewritten AGM minutes for the benefit of Mr Renwick.

Finally, your comments here make it obvious that you don’t have any idea about what NEMT is actually doing.
Before his tenure of the office of the Chair of NEMT, all members were made aware of events and cancellations etc. and it appears that he had called an irregular meeting to remove my membership so that he could keep me in the dark and why I had travelled to South Shields on the 2nd of August in vain.
