What rights is Mr A Renwick asserting?

Our Rights to This Domain have been removed by Mr Michael Dawson as follows;
The domain name nemaritimetrust.co.uk has now been claimed and used by Mr Michael Dawson- (daw50nmdj@hotmail.co.uk) and has a high risk of being used in a way that is likely to endanger deversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in our part of the domain name system.

The domain name nemaritimetrust.co.uk was registered in May 2014 by the said Michael Dawson and he gave permission to Mr Renwick to access it in 2020. His editing rights were removed when it was discovered that he had abused his position by removing some of the history of the NFHT. In 2024 Mr Renwick regained access right by giving false information to the then provider, TSOHost and once he gained access used the privilege to remove Mr Dawson from the position as the main administrator which he had held for nearly 10 years and having done that, nemaritimetrust.co.uk was used to disseminate false information about the Trustees of the NFHT.

Mr Dawson originally registered the website for North East Maritime Trust, circa 2010, then transferred it to myself as its administrator in Oct 2020. The Website was not transferred to Mr Renwick. He was given administrative rights which were withdrawn when it was discovered that nearly all the posts from 2011 to 2019 had been deleted. NEMT paid all TSOcosts hosting costs involved since then. However, Mr Dawson took advantage of my limited ability to understand the danger of unlocked website access, then transfered the website from TSO Host to Ionos without seeking permission to do so.

The Website was transferred to IONOS because Mr Renwick had persuaded someone in TSOHost to replace Mr Dawson as the administrator of nemaritimetrust.co.uk with himself and as TSOHost could not be persuaded correct their error. Mr Dawson was left no alternative but to switch providers for which he did not need permission from anyone, especially Mr Renwick!

However, after his own personal dispute regarding essential and necessary operational issues, Mr Dawson has removed access by myself as name ‘chockblock’ or anyone at this organisation North East Maritime Trust. His, ‘chockerbloc’s, status was reduced from administrator to subscriber by Mr Dawson when it was became apparent that much of the history of the Trust had been removed by Mr Renwick Further, he refused to delete the website, tranfer as requested or modify its administration and has, in fact, made it his own website which we have no control over.

Mr Dawson would like to point out that he had maintained the website from 2010, registered the domain name in 2014 and had no complaints from anyone in NEMT until Mr Renwick was voted in as its Chair after the death of Jerry Dudman on March 2020.

Other internet users (including but not limited to the distribution of viruses and malware, phishing activity, or facilitating distributed denial of service attacks) are obviously crucial in this regard.

Nonsense, nemaritimetrust.co.uk was made secure when the site was moved from Daily to TSOHost in November 2019.

Personal defamatory attacks include malicious and incorrect information, which seems to be the norm, especially in my case. Social engineering of this nature is having a direct effect on this charity’s future viability.

Mr Dawson was not one of those making personal defamatory attacks. The malicious and incorrect information began to be posted on the site nemaritimetrust.co.uk soon after Mr Renwick took total control of it in March 2024. There was no way of countering it and therefore it became one of the main drivers when the decision was taken to switch the provider from TSOHost to IONOS.

Originally hosted by Daily, then TSOHost, then later transferred to Ionos, this situation is extremely detrimental to our UK registered charities future, which we now have no control or editorial rights which have been removed by him. The editorial rights were removed by him.

Mr Renwick’s editorial rights were first removed when it was noticed that he had removed nearly all of the history of the North East Maritime Trust from the Website from when it became a charity until 2019 with the exception of that of the lifeboat built by Saunders Roe, Cowes, Isle of Wight.

I/We ask that the www.nemaritimetrust.co.uk domain is put on hold and/or Transferred to our new hosting company Kualo.

It appears that Mr Renwick wished nemaritimetrust.co.uk to be transferred to his domain nemaritimetrust.org.uk so that he could again, rewrite the history of the North East Maritime Trust since it became a charity in 2007.

Why is the domain name an Abusive Registration?

Abusive registration

After his own personal dispute regarding operational issues, Mr Dawson has removed access by myself or anyone at NEMT. What operational issues? It was Mr Renwick who claimed that Website nemaritimetrust.co.uk had been stolen, not Mr Dawson He refused to delete the website or modify its administration and has, in fact, made it his own. – see Web references above, it had been Mr Dawson’s site since 2010.

This is considered an Abusive Registration; – only by Mr Renwick.

As a result of this, we have been forced to purchase and initiate a new nemaritimetrust.org.uk domain (currently under construction) via Kualo, all at great expense. Efforts to protect this domain are crucial and are currently in operation.

Which domain the .org.uk one or .co.uk one? Mr Renwick was not forced to create a new domain name, it was his choice and it turns out that it was done because I had moved the pages from nfht.co.uk into a sub-group of pages within nemaritimetrust.co.uk because the objectives of both Trusts were the same. Those pages disappeared when he gained control of nemaritimetrust.co.uk by lying to TSOHost’s representative shortly before Match 15th 2024.

Other internet users (including but not limited to the distribution of viruses and malware, phishing activity, or facilitating distributed denial of service attacks) are obviously crucial in this regard. Irrelevant!

Personal defamatory attacks include malicious and incorrect information, which seems to be the norm, especially in my case. Social engineering of this nature is having a direct effect on this charity’s future viability.

It was Mr Renwick who was making false accusations about the theft of nemaritimetrust.co.uk, not Mr Dawson.

Personal attacks on my viability as Chairperson and incorrect potentially defamatory information are central to this complaint.

There was no need to to make any personal attacks on Mr Renwick and none were made. All Mr Dawson needed to do was prove that the Mick Dawson who had registered nemaritimetrust.co.uk when he was treasurer of NEMT, 2-3 Wapping St, South Shields was the same Mick Dawson who lived in Church St Amble and that was easily and when £12 was paid to Nominet the transfer of the domain and accompanying website took place within a couple of days.

Our rights to this domain have been removed by Mr Michael Dawson.

No. Mr Dawson moved the domain out of the reach of Mr Renwick.

Originally hosted by Daily, then TSO Host, then later transferred to Ionos, this situation is extremely detrimental to our UK registered charities future.

I/We ask that the www.nemaritimetrust.co.uk domain is either put on hold and or transferred to Kualo as previously requested to Mr Dawson, who refuses to speak directly so that a way forward can be agreed.

Mr Dawson has put nemaritimetrust.co.uk beyond Mr Renwick’s reach and has no wish for it to be converted to a variation of a Henry Frederick Swan Appreciation Society magazine again. Mr Renwick is free to do that with nemaritimetrust.org.uk.
