I will never know the detail of the misinformation given to the Agent but I believe a more correct term would be fraudulent misrepresentation because of the intrusive nature of his character assassination, towards me to try and stop the payment of £13,000, owed to the NFHT, in January 2023. In Claim and Counter claim one can see that I had already shown that they were behaving more like a pair of fraudsters than Trustees of Charity.
On the 7th of March 2024, I discovered that I had not been invited to NEMT’s AGM that was to be held on the 9th at 10:30 and in the following week I had become aware that there was trouble brewing between the Chair of NEMT, Mr Renwick and the Trustees NFHT of which I was one, and that prompted me to see if anything had been posted on the NEMT website and on March 15th 2024 I discovered that I was no longer able to log into nemaritimetrust.co.uk.
I could still see the content and noticed that it had become almost entirely devoted to the repair and restoration of the Henry Frederick Swan, a lifeboat built in Cowes and I said almost entirely because there were a few references to the Royal Diadem II.
RD II was originally part of the fleet of boats associated with NFHT and when she was in their care in 2010, she was given a mast and sail.
At the same time, all the history of the of NEMT and its sister Trust, the NFHT working well together to achieve the same aims had disappeared, see missing archives, the third paragraph, above, and it was entirely down the Chairman of NEMT.
The replacement of my user with his, partially, explained why I was no longer able to log into the site I and why I contacted the provider for nemaritimetrust.co.uk, TSOHost very early on 15th March and asked why I was denied access from a Website I had managed for well over a decade with never any trouble of that sort.
The person who handled my enquiry, did not switch the main user of nemaritimetrust.co.uk as his predecessor had done, but very diplomatically suggested that I resolve things with those in charge of NEMT. He was Martin @ Tsohost Support and he advised me that:-
The only way to regain access to the WordPress admin page would be to get in touch with the owner of the account where the domain is registered.
At the same time, Martin appears have noticed that some of comments made by chockerblock (Mr Renwick) were not sound and had taken the precaution of removing him from the control of what had been the website associated with the domain name nemaritimetrust.co.uk but I did not receive his notice until a few hours after the Chair of NEMT had a broadcast his attack on one of its founders and also one its longest serving members:-
1) Dear Mr Weightman,
It is apparent that you, presumably acting for (NFHT), have sent an unauthorised personal letter to NEMT members which contravenes data protection laws and your previous position as Secretary of this Trust.
2) I also notice that Mick Dawson (NFHT) has conspired to scam our website with similar unauthorised data, blocking any input from NEMT.
The commentary to Mr Renwick’s broadcast has only recently been added but when I first received it, I had not put two and two together and it was only when I received Martin’s contribution in the late afternoon that it clicked that Mr Renwick had been locked out as well, item 2; where he uses the term ‘blocking’ and I promptly wrote Mr Weightman:-
It looks as if though Mr Renwick has lost the plot. Please remind him that I have owned the domain name nemaritimetrust.co.uk since we first set up the trust and that he must have been lying to the provider Tsohost, to convince them to remove its editorship from me, some time this morning.
Please also remind him, if you take time to respond to his false accusations, that it not the sort of conduct one expects from the Chairman of a Trust.
My editorship and control of my website may have been removed some time before rather than on the morning of March the 15th but the point is; I did not discover it until I tried to login early on the 15th, however, Mr Weightman did respond to the false accusations made against him and concludes:-
I utterly refute any suggestion that my actions have been improper.
On a more personal level, I would like you to ask yourself why you are following a route of division; for years we worked together with a passion to create and a vision to develop NEMT – it was a most fruitful partnership – what has gone wrong in the last two years?
It appears that Mr Renwick had not lost the plot at all. He chose not to respond but let Mr Barnard continue with the personal attack on both, Mr Weightman and myself by using much the same language that the pair of them used in their personal attack on me, back in 2023:-
Are you implying that a member of NEMT is responsible for this disgraceful personalised and aggressive attack.
I believe the person in question is in fact a member of NFHT board and has not been a member of NEMT for several years.
I may have taken up lodgings in Amble in 2014 and permanently moved there in 2017 and although I seldom travel to South Tyneside these days, I am still very interested in what both the Trusts do and have never resigned from the North East Maritime Trust and Mr Renwick knew that and so did the trustees of the NFHT but not Mr K Lund nor Dr S Griffiths.
